Yesterday I correctly picked the Celtics to cover over the Knicks but lost on the Thunder covering against the Nuggets. The split lowered my losses to -$140 with a record of 25-24-2. As usual my picks are made using computer assistance and the lines are from the Betonline.ag lines as listed on the Yahoo Sports page for entertainment purposes only with $110 wagered on each game taking $100 on my wins.
Los Angeles Lakers at Charlotte Hornets
The Lakers were in Memphis last night and are in Charlotte tonight after a 16 point loss to the Grizzlies. The Hornets broke their 3 game losing streak on Saturday at home against the same Grizzlies. I will pick the Hornets to continue their winning ways and lay the 12 and a half against the back to back Lakers.
Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors
The Warriors have had two days off after their grinding victory over the Cavaliers on Christmas while the Kings had a dispiriting home loss to the Trailblazers last night. This smells like a blowout to me so I'll take the Warriors and lay the 12.5 points.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Phoenix Suns
The Suns seem to be in complete meltdown mode. Star player Markieff Morris is suspended for throwing a towel at coach Jeff Hornacek, they lost to the hapless Philadelphia 76ers at home on Saturday, star guard Eric Bledsoe injured his knee and will have surgery tomorrow, and two of Hornacek's top assistants have been fired. Meanwhile the Cavaliers are on a 2 game losing streak and looking to get their first win on this western road trip. I'll take the suddenly hungry Cavaliers and give the 8 and a half to the home Suns.
